BELLYDANCE BEGINNER CLASSES
Wednesday 8.30pm – 9.30pm Beginner 6 week progressive course 9th January – 13th February
Positivity Centre, Nashdom Lane, Burnham SL1 8NJ. The Positivity Centre is near Cliveden and you can find it here: http://www.consciousspacamps.com/where-to-find-us/. It can be a bit tricky to find in the dark so please do check a map before you travel – your satnav will get you to the right general area but then declare you’ve arrived while you’re in the middle of nowhere! This class is absolutely perfect for complete beginners to get you up and dancing. The six week course costs £50. No drop ins without pre-booking please as spaces are limited.
Wednesday 10.00am – 11.15am Beginner/Improver class – Windsor
Yoga for Harmony, 143 Arthur Road, Windsor, SL4 1RU. For more details about the venue and where to park see http://www.yogaforharmony.co.uk/. Small and friendly class in a mirrored studio, we run year round focusing on bellydance technique, fitness and fun. This class is suitable for complete beginners. Drop ins are welcome for £10 a class or you can buy a block of 6 lessons for £50. This class runs year round so you can start at any time. Classes start back 9th January.
Thursday 8.00pm – 9.15pm Beginner 6 week progressive course 28th February to 4th April 2019
Dorney Village Hall in Eton Dorney. The hall entrance is on the corner of Meadow Way and Oak Stubbs Lane, Dorney Reach near Maidenhead, SL6 0DS. This is a friendly brand new class for complete beginners to introduce you the basics and get you up and dancing as soon as you can. It runs as a progressive 6 week course and costs £50. Please email to reserve your place. There is a one off introductory lesson on 14th February if you’d like to come try it out.
Sunday 7.15pm – 8.30pm Beginners/Improvers class – Windsor

This is a small class focused on technique, drills and improvisation skills. We also have our own reserved parking spaces on a Sunday evening so you can park just behind the studio on the little trading estate. You may book single classes for £10 a class or you can buy a block of 6 lessons for £50. Please pre-book this class to reserve your space. This class restarts 6th January but has cancellations on 13th and 27th January and 3rd February 2019.
FULL TERM PERFORMANCE BASED CLASSES
Monday 7.00pm – 8.00pm Open Level Improvers to Advanced, Windsor
First Floor Dance Studio 1 at Windsor Youth and Community Centre, Alma Road, Windsor SL4 3HD. This term will focus on Salsa fusion technique and combinations – hot and spicy! This class needs to be booked as full term courses as it is progressive and leads to an optional performance on the 13th of July. Tuesday 7.30pm – 8.30pm Beginners and Improvers Maidenhead
At the Yoga Hub, 42 York Road, Maidenhead SL6 1SH. This class will teach you all the bellydance basics in a fun and friendly environment as well as a fun choreography. This class is progressive so you will need to book either as a half term or as a full term course. As long as there are spaces still available you are also welcome to book a single trial lesson to see if bellydancing is for you before making a decision about the full course. Open Practice Sessions in Dorney between Maidenhead and Windsor This is an open practice session for drilling, working with props or rehearsing routines. All dancers are very welcome including beginners. Cost is only £5 towards the venue hire. This runs on selected Saturdays throughout the year, generally to tie in with planned performances. Full details and dates are at Practice sessions. Note the 2019 schedule has not been published yet.
