Bellydance Classes Windsor, Burnham, Slough and Maidenhead

BELLYDANCE WINTER 2024/25 CLASSES

Maidenhead Wednesday 7.30pm – 8.30pm   Open Level      Ongoing booked monthly

Our current theme for this class is technique revision with some combinations.  No fixed choreography this month.

The class takes place in the wide dance studio at 4 Marlow Road Maidenhead SL6 7HY.  Free parking is available behind the building.

The class is booked monthly and costs £9 per class.  It is aimed at improvers but also suitable for keen beginners. Please email ellen@shimmies.co.uk to reserve your space.

PERFORMANCE CLASS

Maidenhead Tuesday 7.30pm – 8.30pm    Improvers full term Student show 

We are in the new studio at 4 Marlow Road, Maidenhead SL6 7HY.  This class is a great progression from the basics onwards in a fun and friendly environment and has at least two performance opportunities each year.  This class generally sells out,  please email ellen@shimmies.co.uk to join the waiting list. 

ON-LINE Sunday 7.00pm – 8.15pm   Open Level class

The current theme for this class is the gorgeous vintage styling of  Golden Era bellydance.

This class has a mixture of technique and work on styling and interpretation. You may book single classes for £10 a class or you can buy a monthly block for  £9 per  class

CLASSES ON HOLD 

Dorney Thursday 8.00pm – 9.15pm   Beginner/Improver course      Pre-book from September

We are running a waiting list for a potential course starting during 2025.

The venue is Dorney Village Hall near Maidenhead.  The hall entrance is on the corner of Meadow Way and Oak Stubbs Lane, Dorney Reach near Maidenhead, SL6 0DS.  There is plenty of free car parking on site.  There are currently road closures due to M4 works with a diversion in place, please follow the yellow sign for the village hall entrance and follow the drive past the house and around to the left into the car park.  The class is booked monthly and costs £9 per class.  It is aimed at beginners and people restarting bellydance after a break. Maidenhead Tuesday 2.30pm – 3.30pm Slower paced class

Norden Farm Centre for the Arts, Altwood Road, Maidenhead SL6 4PF. Friendly class in a mirrored studio with a slower pace, suitable for complete beginners, returning to bellydance after a long break or anyone wanting a gentler class.  Classes cost £50 for a 6 week course and can also be booked as individual lessons for £12 a class.    You can book directly with me or with Norden Farm at https://norden.farm/events/bellydance-raks-sharki.
